Are you living in an older home? If so there are probably allot of different things that are not up to today’s safety codes. One very common issue is stair railings. Allot of the older homes have railings where the spindals are too far apart making it very easy for a toddler to slip through. Pictures attached are of a home that was purchased by a young couple who needed that fixed so their 2 year old would be safe. In one working day Jeffrey T Pulliam Construction had it up to code and now safe for the couples very active toddler.

Here’s an antique fireplace mantle a customer brought with her from the south and insisted it be put in her home in Vancouver Wa she had just purchased. With a great deal of care and talent Jeff mounted it to her modern day fireplace having to cut it down and make several parts that had been damaged in the move to match. She couldn’t be happier

With so many homes on the market these days people are going towards the older homes because of the size of lots and the construction of the home itself. Older homes are built so much better than the homes that were built in the boom in 2004 to 2006. But on the flip side of that some safety issues were not considered back in the 1950′s, 60′s and 70′s even 80′s. One of those being stair rails.
